Description
Cisco QSFP-100G-SR4-S network transceiver module
The Cisco QSFP-100G-SR4-S Compatible QSFP28 Optical Transceiver Module is designed for use in 100GBASE Ethernet throughput up to 100m over OM4 multimode fibre (MMF) using a wavelength of 850nm via a MTP/MPO-12 connector. It is verified to interoperate with original Cisco switches, including the Catalyst 9400/9500/9600 and Nexus 9200/9300/9500/3000 series. This 100G SR4 QSFP28 optics also supports breakout to 4x25GBASE-SR SFP28 via MTP/MPO-8 to 4xLC duplex OM3/OM4 breakout cables. Compliant with IEEE 802.3bm 100GBASE-SR4 and CAUI-4 standards, it provides digital diagnostics via the I2C interface, as defined by the QSFP28 MSA, for real-time monitoring. With these features, this easy to install, hot swappable transceiver is suitable to be used in various applications, such as data centres, high-performance computing networks, enterprise core and distribution layer applications.
